29 weeks

Here I am at 29 weeks! Ready to see my family for Christmas!!!!

I have been so excited about seeing the Hobbit this week! I loved all the Lord of the Rings movies, and was not disappointed in the Hobbit. We saw it at the ipic theatre in the Domain, and had the most comfortable seats ever!!!!
We also had my staff Christmas Party on Friday night. This was a lot of fun. We had our last day of school before the Christmas Break, and we dressed in matching Grinch T-Shirts and went to see the Trail of Lights with the staff. I had my 28 week doctor appointment and had to take the glucose tolerance test. My scores came back normal, and baby girl's heart beat was good and strong at 160bpm. I found out my blood type is O-, so I had to get a special shot. Other then that I am super healthy and measuring right as I should be!

27 weeks and my 32nd Birthday!

This week we celebrated my 32nd birthday in style. I had been sick earlier in the week with a slight tummy bug, but thankfully felt much better by my birthday. My sweet friends took me out to dinner at Z Tejas to celebrate my birthday on Friday night. Then Adam and I had lunch on Saturday with our old college professor and my OBU soccer coach...Dr. Mwase. We ate lunch at the 24 diner and enjoyed some chicken and waffles. We then spent the rest of the afternoon in Downtown Austin. We saw teh movie Lincoln at the Violet Crown theater and then had a progressive dinner for my birthday. We had appetizers at one place, shared an entree at Lambert's BBQ, then had another entree at an italian place and yummy dessert. It was so much fun!!! We window shopped along the way and just enjoyed the pretty Austin weather. Then on Sunday (my actual birthday) we went and ate lunch at the melting pot. This was something I had been wanting to do with Adam for a long time. It was so yummy and we had the best time!!!

26 Weeks and Kicking

This week Adam felt our little girl kick really good for the first time (December 2, 2012). His reaction was priceless. He said, "Whoa, was that her!?!' She gave him a pretty good kick. The best part was I found a BOB jogging stroller at the REI garage sale. Adam's Nana had just given us money for the baby, so I was able to buy this stroller at a great deal, and it had only been used one time.

Thanksgiving in Arkansas and 25 weeks

25 weeks!!!

We took the long road trip to Arkansas this year for Thanksgiving. It was really fun getting to spend some special time with Adam's family. I had been looking forward to Thanksgiving meal ever since I found out I was pregnant. I finally had a good excuse to stuff my self silly!!! Everyone pitched in and we had a great meal and lots of great naps too!!! Adam's little cousin celebrated his 1st birthday while we were there. Here are some pictures from the week.
